Transformation Tuesday- Roll in Shower
Happy Tuesday!
Today I want to show you how we transformed a small, cramped bathroom into a spacious roll in shower.
Click on the slideshow below to see this weeks Transformation ...
The purpose of a roll in shower is essentially that there are NO barriers. It is an open layout design.
Notice in the images above that there is a drain in the shower. Where the drain is, there is a slight slope, which allows the water to flow directly into the drain and keep the rest of the bathroom floor dry.
Other equipment shown are the grab bars and ADA toilet. There is a standard grab bar by the toilet as well as a flip grab bar. This gives our client the help she needs to transition to and from the toilet. Lastly, an ADA height toilet makes all of the difference. These toilets are higher than standard toilets, which helps our client significantly.
Remember, all of these modifications are made to improve our clients quality of life. An ADA home gives our clients INDEPENDENCE to do as much as they can at home, and to STAY at home.
